This Privacy Policy explains how ReelRate ("ReelRate", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit reel-rate.com (the "Site") and use the video editor rate calculator (the "Tool"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

The Tool runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit the numbers you enter — your income goal, expenses, hours, and results never leave your device and are never sent to us or any server. You do not need an account, and we never ask for your name, email, or payment details to use the calculator.

Information we do not collect

Because the calculator is a self-contained tool, we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or the financial figures you type in. We do not use accounts, logins, or browser local storage to save your inputs.

Cookies and advertising

The Site does not currently display third-party advertisements. Google Analytics may use cookies as described below. If advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the providers and choices available.

Most web browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect the calculator itself.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are popular and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate (city-level) location. We use this information only in aggregate and do not use it to personally identify you.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. For more on how Google uses this data, see Google's Privacy & Terms.

We measure calculator interactions, successful copying, guide-category selections, internal navigation, and clicks to external websites. These events contain tool identifiers, category names, page paths, and public link destinations. They do not include your financial inputs, calculated rates, copied summary, or text typed into the guide search. The calculator does not save inputs between visits.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Our hosting provider also supplies Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and page performance. Learn more in Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation.

Third-party links

The Site may link to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can use the Analytics opt-out link above, and you can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Since we do not collect the data you enter into the calculator, there is nothing on our side for you to request, correct, or delete.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
